KM&A Files Lawsuit Against Medical and Health Sciences Foundation at University of Pittsburgh

Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC “KM&A” has filed a complaint against the Medical and Health Sciences Foundation at University of Pittsburgh in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that the Plaintiff was discriminated against due to her disability and in retaliation for taking FMLA leave. The complaint claims that the Plaintiff was terminated from her position while still on an approved FMLA leave. The complaint further alleges that the Plaintiff was subjected to discriminatory treatment and comments throughout her employment. Plaintiff’s supervisors would make snide comments and constantly question the treatment Plaintiff was receiving and how much time she was taking off. Medical and Health Sciences Foundation at University of Pittsburgh clearly violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
