KM&A Files Lawsuit Against Fort Cherry EMS

Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC “KM&A” has filed a complaint against Fort Cherry EMS on behalf of Steven Cropelli and Carolina Cropelli in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that the Plaintiffs were discriminated against by Fort Cherry EMS due to the first Plaintiff’s disability and age and the second Plaintiff”s association with a disabled person and her age. The complaint claims that the Plaintiff was terminated from his position after being hospitalized due to his disability which Fort Cherry EMS was aware of at the time of hire. The complaint further alleges that the second Plaintiff  was harassed by her supervisor and then terminated while caring  for the first Plaintiff during his hospitalization. Both Plaintiffs are over forty years old.  It is alleged that Fort Cherry EMS failed engage in the interactive process to accommodate first Plaintiff for his disability. The complaint additionally alleges that the Fort Cherry EMS has violated Title VII, as the first Plaintiff is a member of a protected class under Title VII, ADA and the PHRA.
