Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC (“KM&A”) has filed a complaint against UPMC Community Medicine, Inc.  (“the Defendant”), in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that the Plaintiff was unlawfully terminated by the Defendant because of her race, disability, and in retaliation for her opposition to the Defendant’s discriminatory practices and in retaliation for her exercising her lawful right to FMLA-protected leave.   The complaint also alleges that the Defendant failed to engage in the interactive process with the Plaintiff, and also failed to provide her with reasonable and necessary accommodations for her disability.  The complaint also alleges that Plaintiff was subjected to a hostile work environment.
