Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC (“KM&A”) has filed a complaint against Norfolk Southern Corporation, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that the Plaintiff’s rights under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the Federal Railway Safety Act (“FRSA”) were violated when she was suspended and then terminated by the company.   The complaint alleges that the company took these actions, in whole or in part: 1) in retaliation for Plaintiff’s reporting safety concerns, in violation of the FRSA; and 2) because she is a female, in violation of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
