KM&A Files Lawsuit Against Environmental Recovery Corp.

Kraemer, Manes & Associates, LLC “KMA” has filed a complaint on behalf of Qamil Gashi, against Environmental Recovery Corporation (“ERC”), Troy Tremellen, and Tony Miller, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that Mr. Gashi, an Albanian Muslim employee at ERC, a waste processing facility, experienced threats and harassment on the basis of his nationality, race, and religion, from his co-workers and supervisors.  Mr. Gashi was spit at, and referred to as a “stupid immigrant” and a terrorist.  One of his co-workers even threatened to cut his throat.  Furthermore, the company failed to remedy the harassment and threats, after Mr. Gashi complained out of fear for his safety.

Mr. Gashi is suing Defendants for retaliation, and hostile work environment claims on the basis of race, religion, and national origin.
