Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC (“KM&A”) has filed a complaint against Ten Mile Paving, LLC, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that the Plaintiff was subjected to unlawful treatment because of her gender (female) and in retaliation for her opposition to the company’s discriminatory conduct.   The complaint alleges that Plaintiff was unlawfully subjected to a hostile work environment (sexual harassment).  The complaint also alleges that Plaintiff was not paid the same wages as male employees who performed comparable job duties, in violation of the Equal Pay Act, and it is also alleges that the company unlawfully failed to promote her and demoted her, and that she was constructively discharged, in violation of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
