KM&A Files Lawsuit against StoneMor Partners, L.P.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 28, 2016

Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC “KM&A” has filed a complaint against Stonemor Partners, L.P. (Stonemor) in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

The complaint alleges that Plaintiff was terminated in violation of Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). Plaintiff was terminated because he was 65 years old. The Plaintiff learned that Stonemor was moving in a “newer, younger direction,” which is why Plaintiff had to be terminated.

Plaintiff is not the only victim of age discrimination. A previous employee of Stonemor filed a lawsuit against Stonemor in the United Stated District Court, Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division alleging age discrimination. That case is docketed at 5:13-CV-01555. The matter was confidentially settled for an undisclosed amount. Another former Stonemor employee also filed suit in the Western District alleging age discrimination. That case is docketed at 2:15-cv-01312-TFM.

Full text of this complaint, as filed with the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, is available at docket no: 2:16-cv-000267-AB.
