KM&A Files Lawsuit Against Louis Lamanna, Lands Landscaping and Bentley Construction Company, Inc.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 1, 2015

Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC “KM&A” has filed a complaint against Lands Landscaping and Bentley Construction in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

The complaint alleges that the Plaintiff was not properly compensated for working under the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA) or the Wage Payment Collection Law (WPCL). The complaint states that the Plaintiff worked over 180 hours for Lands Landscaping and over 129 hours for Bentley Construction without being paid. Plaintiff has tried to collect his money but both Lands Landscaping and Bentley Construction have refused. Both companies are in clear violation of the FLSA, which guarantees the Plaintiff overtime for any hours worked over 40 hours per week, and the WPCL, which requires the Plaintiff be paid for hours worked.

Lead attorney on this case is Christi Wallace. Full text of the complaint, as filed with the court, is available at docket no: AR-15-4117.
